TR-YÖS (Türkiye International Student Admission Exam) is an official and centralized exam administered by ÖSYM (Assessment, Selection and Placement Center) for international students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at universities in Türkiye.
TR-YÖS is a standardized, fair, and reliable assessment system that measures the basic academic qualifications of applicants. Since 2023, the exam has been conducted exclusively by ÖSYM, twice a year. Many public and foundation universities in Türkiye accept TR-YÖS results for undergraduate admissions.
Who Can Apply?
Foreign nationals
Dual citizens who are not citizens of the Republic of Türkiye
Foreign nationals who have completed high school education in Türkiye
Applicants holding a Blue Card

Exam Period: Typically held in the spring semester each year

The TR-YÖS consists of two sections:
Quantitative Reasoning Test (Logic and IQ questions)
Basic Mathematics Test
Total Number of Questions: 80
Exam Duration: 100 minutes
Available Languages: Turkish, English, Arabic, French, Russian, German
TR-YÖS results are valid for 2 years.
Many universities in Türkiye accept TR-YÖS scores for undergraduate admissions.
